We are the data controller for the information described here.
1. What information we collect
- Details you give us when you book a meeting or message us: your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email address (if you give it), city, the marketplace and business model you are interested in, your budget, and any notes you add.
- Whether you live in the UK and your general residence status (for example UK resident or living in the UK on a visa). We ask this only because UK marketplaces require UK identity, address and banking details for a seller account, so it tells us which options are open to you. We do not ask for passport or visa documents through this website.
- Messages and calls you have with our team on WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view.
2. How the forms work
The meeting form on this website does not store your details on our server. When you press the button, it opens WhatsApp with your details written into a message. Your information reaches us only when you choose to send that message. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC / Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
3. Why we use your information and our legal basis
- To arrange and hold your meeting and answer your questions. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To prepare and carry out our agreement if you become a client, including store management, monthly reports and profit-share payouts. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep business and financial records we are required to keep by law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- To keep our website working and secure and understand how it is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
- To send you updates or offers, only if you agree. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed with:
- our own team, including staff at our operations office in Pakpattan, Pakistan, who manage client enquiries and stores;
- service providers we use to run the business, such as WhatsApp, email and hosting providers;
- marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop and OnBuy, but only when setting up or running a seller account for you as a client;
- professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Part of our team works from Pakistan, and some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. When your information is transferred outside the UK, we take steps to protect it, such as limiting access to staff who need it and using appropriate contractual safeguards where required by UK data protection law.
6. How long we keep it
If you only make an enquiry, we keep your details for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the agreement lasts and then for up to 6 years for legal, tax and accounting reasons.
7. Cookies and third-party content
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it. If we add analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@abdullahmaneka.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date at the top.
